Rate of Pay: £13.15+

Overall purpose of the Job:
As market leaders in the event crewing industry Gallowglass has the highest standards and expectations that must be met. In order to maintain as well as build upon our reputation it is imperative that all of our crew work within the set guidelines. The following should not be seen as an exhaustive list as the responsibilities of the roles within Gallowglass constantly evolve. We have a hierarchical system and with each change in grade it opens up the possibility for training such as plant tickets, IPAF, PASMA Towers, EFAW and they can move onto vocational training in sound, lighting, video etc. We pride ourselves on investing in our people and crewing is viewed as being an excellent starting place for those interested in working within the events and entertainment business.
Main duties and responsibilities
All crew are required to demonstrate the following:
- High work rate and level of productivity onsite.
- Consideration for the Health and Safety of yourself/colleagues and those around you at all times.
- Attitude onsite must be positive and helpful.
- A conscientious and polite attitude towards all other people on site
- Must be punctual, with a high level of availability and contactability.
- Support other crew and Crew Chiefs
- Effective working as part of a team.
- Uniform must be correct, and appearance neat and tidy.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be onsite at all times.
PBC:
- Look, listen and learn.
- Be proactive.
- Ask questions.
- Be the first to volunteer for tasks.
- Don’t turn down any jobs.
- Maintain contact with the office.
- Should you require assistance then ask.
Special requirements
Information of a confidential nature MUST be kept strictly confidential and should never be disclosed either inside or outside work. It should be noted that a breach of confidentiality in any form; even partial disclosure or a suggestion, is a serious offence which will lead to disciplinary procedures being put into action and may lead to dismissal.
General
All crew are expected to:

To be promoted to the position of General Crewman you must be able to fulfil the following requirements;
- Must be a standout crewman whilst onsite.
- Must be working at least two week-ends a month.
- Must have good reviews from Crew Chiefs and Senior Crew Chiefs.
- Must be able to maintain the Gallowglass Gold Standard.
